“I was ticked off about something the other day, and I *FORGOT* to want to smoke! I went to the gym to work it off instead. I had a couple of stops to make but I was an hour into my gym excursion before I realized that I hadn’t thought about smoking! I cannot tell you how weird that is — to actually forget something I did for 30+ years…

Most of the time it doesn’t even occur to me. It’s almost like I never smoked! It surprises me every time that happens…

I have mentioned to people recently that I feel like I am regressing — or maybe just picking up where I detoured years ago. I am beginning to occupy my time with things that I enjoyed all those years before I started smoking. Yoga tonight. Horseback riding lesson on Friday. And- I got some rollerblades last weekend, so my friend and I will be headed to Piedmont Park sometime soon.

It’s kinda cool 🙂

Thanks-“
